What do they even want a war over? Some perceived slight from the left they’ve been told democrats do? Like, they want a war against an imaginary enemy.

What do they even want a war over?

To enforce the social heirarchy that they feel was stolen from them; typical reactionary demands.

There’s a bunch of minorities getting “uppity” that these dipshits want to put in their place.

Why did the Nazis want to murder Jews? Entirely over made up conspiracy theory lies. They have made “libs” the Jews of their madness and are champing at the bit to murder their neighbors.

Look into the Rwandan civil war, just insanity pushed by lies and nonsense urging everyone to slaughter their neighbors.

The answer is fifty years old.

Back in the day, sociologist Alvin Toffler wrote a series of books about the coming shift from The Industrial Age to the Digital Era.

“Future Shock” said that a lot of people would feel displaced by the new technologies and social changes. As the world moved forward they were going to try harder and harder to cling to the past.

I mean that’s in there, but the real issues we’re facing right now are the same exact issues that we’ve seen topple democracies across the world for the last couple centuries.

People are being radicalized to support a system that benefits the stakeholders at the very top who are trying to secure a lasting empire of wealth and power by manufacturing hate and culture war with invented enemies. I can point to examples of this happening over and over as a prelude to authoritarian takeover, from Germany and Italy in the 30’s all the way on through recent “strongman” elections in places like the Philippines and Argentina, and a wealth of famous stories in between.

You can certainly talk about the role of society shifting around development and technology, but the heart of the issue is human greed and desire for power, as it has always been, as it will always be. People aren’t out there scared of immigrants and voting their rights away because they understand how AI is going to threaten their jobs, they’re terrified of brown people because FOX news implied that the scary foreigners and trans kids are going to take away everything that makes America feel like a stable home, and that people asking for kindness and empathy are actually literal baby-eating demons.

They don’t even cling to the past accurately. They constantly act as though America was a better country the closer to 1776 to travel back in time, even though by every conceivable metric the whole world was worse.

And one of their leading election conspiracies is the fact that the election wasn’t decided by midnight on election day in 2020, where they insist that elections have always been decided same-day, even back when the primary form of communication between states was letters carried by horse, and it literally took literally weeks to send a letter from one coast to the other and get a response back.

One poster was complaining about criminal immigrants. Got angry when I pointed out that most of the British and French colonists were indentured servants; the gutter sweepings of the cities thrown into ships. The French even made their men marry prostitutes to populate the New World.

They somehow think the only obstacle between them and victory are citizens. If they organized a violent revolution and began killing innocent people around the nation, you can bet that Biden would declare a National Emergency. No amount or personally owned firearms are taking out militarized forces. It’s delusional nonsense from the woefully uneducated.

Also, those aren’t conservatives, they’re MAGA Republicans. They’re the pawns in the game. Conservatives want us to continue blaming one another while they siphon the remaining money and resources from our nation.

Truly amazing that the people who fight hardest to provide as much funding and resources to police and the military as possible think they would have a snowball’s chance in hell of defeating the government in battle.

Exactly. It’s bananas. The only ones more delusional are the far-left extremists who think they have a chance at overthrowing the same forces controlled by Trump, who has already shown his willingness to prematurely mobilize military forces in Portland and DC.

In recent years, Mattus also became a father, saying he wanted children because it would give him “something to fight for.

I want children so I have an excuse to be violent. Cool.

Oh so how many people have American right-wing terrorists killed in the past couple of decades now?

And what was that vs lefty ones? So it’s still just that one guy who killed a far-right terrorist?

From my personal experience, Even the term “Lefty” is ridiculous. Anyone not far right is “Left” or center and considered mostly normal. Three supposed distinctions but only Republican and Democrat parties . It’s only the very far right maga, less than 5% of the population want a war. 99% of these people will turn and run when shit gets real, just like 1/6 fucking spineless cowards. Lol and then call themselves tourists and deny any responsibility. Traitors. Polling may show Trump ahead but polling is unreliable now. He will lose spectacularly. Just like everyone he endorses

Mattus was charged with being a felon in possession of a weapon — his felony stems from a 2018 theft conviction.

Tell them Canada and Mexico will close their borders if it happens. See if they still think war is a good idea when it’s in their neighborhood and there’s no escape.
