We’re getting closer and closer to the end of the Xbox 360 store this July, and when that happens, lots of digital-only Xbox 360 games are set to be permanently delisted - completely inaccessible unless you’ve already bought them.

Time to RGH your console with the XL patch, get a 5TB harddrive in there and slap all of the games you can find on that thing.

Doesn’t feel like there’s anything of significance on this list. Maybe we can just let go of things like Kinect Fun Labs: Kinect Rush: Snapshot. I find it funny how we bestow this importance on every possible game release as something to archive for all time when many game titles were made without love for a paycheck.

You both asked and answered your question, wrapped in “we”. I’m not doing a thing. I won’t yuck other peoples yum though who find importance in it all. Perhaps being a piece of the historical aspect you mention is also important for some.

For myself, I do appreciate that some preservation groups are digitally filling up hard drives. I could be wrong, but it feels more sustainable.
