WASHINGTON (AP) — House Republicans added a provision to their sweeping tax cut package authorizing sales of hundreds of thousands of acres of public lands in Nevada and Utah, prompting outrage from Democrats and environmentalists who called it a betrayal that could lead to drilling, mining and logging in sensitive areas.
Nothing will meaningfully improve until the rich fear for their lives
Whose house? West of where?
Hey Republicans, Say goodbye to your favorite pristine hunting and fishing grounds. People don’t buy land without plans of developing it.
Fuck this. Fuck it all.
Get on the land and start kicking them out. It is not the governments to sell. It belongs to we the people
Based on what I seen on this site and others
“WE THE PEOPLE” are cowards…
Easy to say that from behind a screen
It’s easy to spew half-assed “calls to action” from behind a keyboard as well.
Uh huh. When I see you protesting in the streets next to me, I’ll care.
Don’t be the dipshit associating your protests and your internet personas.
That’s your land they are stealing. Stealing to give away to their rich friends.
With outrageous garbage like this in the bill we can be guaranteed not a single democrat will vote for it, right? RIGHT?
Chuck schumer:
Don’t worry, Chuck will send a strongly worded letter and then wash his hands of this.
Well they all voted for the internet censorship bill (the only nay votes were from two Republicans) so I’m sure it’ll be more than just Schumer voting for it right before they all go on TV and talk about how “concerned” they are with the actions of the Republican party.
