I appreciate you trying to help, but I don’t understand what you just said to me so I’m gonna keep using x11 lol

Yeah, I have a 2080ti.
I tried Wayland out again last week and all it did was make my monitors flash white and black over and over again. Couldn’t get it to stop unless I restarted. No idea how to fix that since I can’t even do anything past the sign in screen lol. Maybe one day it’ll work.
Windows begging me to create a Microsoft account on start up everyday, even making me unplug my ethernet to get past it. I’m not obsessed with Linux.
I have a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and I like it. Its not perfect, but it does what I need it to pretty well.
I’ve been using Peppermint on my garbage laptop and it made it usable again.
I just switched and saw it immediately. What a disappointment :(
I haven’t seen any… Yet
I agree. The thing I like about Mastodon is that I made friends and met other people with similar interests. Nobody is trying to make interaction bait, it’s great.
Oh no worries! I’ve just never heard it before lol
Lah?
It never even occurred to me that you can restore a timeshift on a different distro. I feel so stupid lol
This is wonderful! Thank you!
I installed Ubuntu back in 2012 to get the Tux TF2 item when they made Steam available for Linux. After that, I just kind of tinkered with it on the side until recently when I switched completely.
Every time I boot into Windows, it tries to force me to sign into a Microsoft account. I have to unplug my Ethernet cable to get past it. I just got over it and installed Mint instead. I almost never boot into Windows unless it’s for something specific.
I’ve never wanted anything less in my life.
Ubuntu back in 2013 (I think?) to get the exclusive TF2 item. Good times! :D
