Ahh - didn’t realize that it was console only - thought it was for all of Xbox live (or whatever the hell they’re calling the cross-platform service now). It’s a pretty poor deal from the viewpoint of a PC gamer.

This is for console though, not PC as far as I can tell. So unless you have a PC able to run them Steam isn’t very useful here.

For PC it’s a horrific deal. Nothing beats steam sales of $10 a game!
Steam often isn’t the cheapest (but it sometimes, is!)
Id recommend using https://isthereanydeal.com to look for good (legit) deals. Most register on Steam anyway.
I’m going to bookmark that for when I finally get around to building my PC. Just need GPU prices to come down lol
