I think the point of corrections is to make them never do it again, regardless of their desire. I mean, I want to save the world from billionaires. And if I did it once and was “corrected,” that wouldn’t remove the desire, it would just prevent me from doing it again.

Neither of us know the corrective actions, the terms of release, or even the details of the crime. It’s not really fair to continue to punish them because some people want to do it.

That said, I sure wouldn’t trust him around kids, and I think that scenario should be covered in the terms of release.

I stopped at “save the world from billionaires.” Dude, you seem reasonable, but just stop listening to all the dumb people, they lie to you.

This is a huge issue, but the billionaire thing is just a class warfare too to keep people fighting and not looking at the government that causes all the issues. Then that would lead to how we are a kind of corporate oligarch government, but this is a long conversation that just starts with you getting your news from somewhere else.

I get what you are saying, but then why do you keep voting for the same polticians that give us the same thing?

The problem is the government is so large it will be influenced by people, the only way to change this is to drastically make it smaller.

What do you mean, there’s only 2 real choices and one is absolutely Repugnant and the other is just Disappointing. Voting 3rd party is a waste of a vote, independents will never win no matter how hard bad actors try to split the vote from Democrats. So you either vote D to maintain Status Quo and try again to slowly change the system or Vote R and lose more freedoms.

We both realize both parties are bad so if you live in a state that will go to one party in paticular then vote 3rd party. What 3rd parties can do is to force candidates to do things we want. If there is 10% 3rd party, they have to pander to them becuase that wil sway the election.

The government is also owned by regular people. For example where I live there is not a single rich person controlling the government, but it is the biggest thing that gets in my way. On the federal level its owned by the rich, but local level is different and can be more impactful.
