It’s our national baby blanket, with us from the beginning, and no matter how crusty and tattered it gets there’s no taking it away.
A lot of European money has the face of the current living monarch on the bank notes, which also seems insane if you think about it; for the rest of their life that person gets to trade drawings of themself for things.
Maybe but at least there’s no question whether that monarch actually exists/has existed or not.
