      The CDC has a plan for a zombie outbreak.

      They’re not really thinking we’re gonna live through the walking dead, but it’s good to practice planning for things and analyzing how those plans are developed and if there are any holes.

    One of those countries, as of March, was already in a losing war and the leader has already made vague threats to a nuclear option. Another country has been trying to get into a dick-measuring contest with world powers by using shows-of-force with long range missiles that happens to share a border with a country they’ve been kiiinda at war with for decades. Both aggressor countries are kiiinda aligned, or at least in league, with China, while the opposite countries are allied/aligned with the US.

    This sounds like the kinda thing any rational leader would do.

    Also, TIL Russia actually shares a border with N Korea.

    Sounds like Putin sabre-rattled enough that Biden said ‘Wow, the Ukrainians are really kicking their asses. Putin might actually lose this. Maybe we prepare this time, just in case’.

        Why do you have to go and make everything about being antisemtic? Maybe learn about the most likely “possible” scenario to nuclear confrontations with China. Do you want to just live in pretend world where that isn’t the most likely scenario?

            It says to prepare for possible coordinated nuclear confrontations in the title. Are you suggesting that doesn’t mean engagement with nuclear weapons, but is just about outpacing them in nuclear energy?

      What does this have to do with Israel?

      Russia is fighting a war against our ally in Ukraine, and has threatened to go nuclear.

      China has been saber wrattling about Taiwan for ages and has been growing into a general geopolitical rival for years.

      North Korea is … North Korea. Their foreign policy has been “we can start a nuclear war if we want to for decades”.

      Notably absent from the list is Iran, which is the non-US alligned country at risk of starting a major war over Isreal, and is a near nuclear power.
