Twitter was actually dying before hand because it was completely irrelevant echo chamber. It survives because its now also a complexity irrelevant echo chamber, however, this time with popcorn worth drama.

For a lot of journalists, analysts, scientists, and experts in virtually every field Twitter is the main platform and it is the only way to follow them. I don’t know why people ignore that fact.
