Canada on Monday said it is imposing a 100% tariff on China-made EV imports, as well as a 25% tariff on steel and aluminium imports from China.

Canada’s government on Monday announced it is imposing a 100% tariff on imports of Chinese-made electric vehicles that matches U.S. tariffs and follows similar plans announced by the European Commission.

    Yes, that’s how it works for the imperial core, if you aren’t winning just change the rules.

    I was going to buy one of these now it’s not worth it.

    Unfortunately this is exactly what they want to happen. Force people to buy something else by artificially inflating the price of Chinese vehicles, hurting their own people.
