No, you’re employing a Red Herring to distract from the fact the question is “what is zionists being a protected class based on?”
Zionist /= pro-genocide. One can simultaneously believe Israel has a right to exist without supporting how they’ve behaved of late. In fact, this insertion of ‘but genocide’ as a de facto justification for all pro-zionist hate only supports my point.
its not a red herring, the positive argument has yet to be made on your part: on what basis should zionism be a protected class?
i feel like the genocide practiced by and supported by zionists is sufficient justification for an anti-zionist stance. it is certainly sufficient for an anti-nazi stance: can you imagine someone saying “the insertuon of someone saying ‘but genocide’ to justify pro -nazi hate only supports my point.” in that context? thats what you sound like to me. you sound like a nazi supporter dancing around their de facto support of genocide.
here i think we mostly agree, but students already have extra protections and responsibilities above the level of common citizens. what further protections and/or responsibilities are required here?
Increase the consequences of actual hate speech to discourage it. In my eyes it is the root of all the horrors enacted in the past almost century. Keep the disagreement polite, without threats of violence from either side, and resolve this rationally so this BS can end.
Unfortunately nobody is incentivized to do this so the pinball machine keeps ding-a-linging daily…

I agree that anti-zionist should be a protected class too. Both sides are subject to false projections and hate and should be protected.
