Perhaps the most important lesson for Putin is the realization that he cannot rely on the military’s assessments of its readiness, forcing him to take a more direct role in overseeing strategic operations. Ultimately, the combination of strategic lessons and a battle-hardened force will make Russia more lethal on future battlefields.

                I think you missed this time. Regardless of cringy instance, Bobr seems to be Ukrainian living in Poland and posts plenty of criticism of the ukronazi government. And to be fair assertions like 10/1 losses in a war do require some evidence, just as the never proven in 2,5 years of war assertions of Russian army using the human wave attacks was also required but never provided even in single case. I think 10 to 1 figure was not about losses but about advantage in artillery. Losses are also much higher for Ukraine but i don’t think this much higher, i didn’t seen any calculations (or at least not believable ones) in some time.

                  If I am really desperate for libertarian criticism of the Ukronazis I can go to Telegram, winning the psywar is not my concern, discussions which will actually be good for my brain are.

                  In fact many people who claim to be Marxists can often be spotted making the “my tax dollars!!!” Or “bad bang for our buck” objection to funding the war.

                  So I made a joke, sue me. Claims he avoided Lemmy.ml because he thinks it is a circlejerk. I am a one man refutation of this. Go ahead and try to get me to circlejerk I won’t do it.

          Stop lying. 3 day campaign was US general Miley fearmongering in media, no one in power in Russia ever said that. And where your head was since the “mid-2010”? Mainstream western media was constantly belittling and bashing Russian military for all that time, this only slightly changing now when the undeniable reality of Russian military bleeding “superior” ukronazi military and disarming half of NATO can’t be anymore hidden by the imperialst death machine and its lackeys like you.

      Nobody with a functioning brain thinks Russian army is beat to hell. Certainly not a single western military person is saying this. I guess I can see why you’d think this is the case if you’ve just been guzzling propaganda for the past two years uncritically though.
