      What’s your problem? If you had a financial windfall that meant you could retire, are you saying you wouldn’t?

      No, I’m 50 (though I retired at 48). I saw an article over 20 years ago about how much of a deficit people had for retirement. The same week I saw how much it took to raise kids. That cost to raise kids * amount of average kids per household in the US = the amount of deficit needed for retirement. Seemed pretty basic.
