If I buy components I buy extra and test them myself before use. I don’t buy anything used that I can get new and I test before I use. Now my hobbies seldom require me to play with surface mount, and i don’t need displays for anything, but I’m plenty familiar with ordering from one end of the QC department or the other. I’ve owned two things produced by them. Both were trash out of the box, but perhaps I got "Monday " built devices both times. One came to me as a gift one I bought because my kid asked for it. Both were returned and I have not looked at an apple product since. My only experience is that they are knock offs of themselves and at their price point someone should be ashamed of themselves.
