From my understanding the water towers had completely ran out of water and pumps couldn’t keep up. There’s was no issue with volume through the existing water system, there’s just no way to contain a fire that big. They should be taking preventative measures such as raking the forest.
With increased deportations it’s going to cause a problem with housing all these people while they await deportation proceedings. The options are to build huge camps and prisons to hold these people or expedite their deportation, which would ultimately result in American citizens and legal immigrants being deported. Large camps and prisons will cause a huge amount of family separation and large scale abuse and possibly issues with starvation and other humanitarian atrocities. You’re completely unaware that there are over ten million illegal immigrants in the u.s.

That’s why the TSA is always changing their process and being assholes. Apparently “looking around” and “making eye contact” are suspicious behavior. One of the agents was being an absolute dick to my wife, I was already waiting to go, he turns around to start doing the same thing to me but I was already standing there waiting on him. Anything made in the past 10-15 years still works great, I have a couple of really old thin clients that I bought for around $20 and dumped my pis when the prices were way up. One runs octoprint and the other one runs Lubuntu out in the garage so I can look up vehicle specs and other things while I’m out there. I have a fifth Gen Intel laptop that still works great. I have a desktop with a Ryzen 3000 series that works just fine both bought used for under $100. Raspberry pi is good for certain tasks, but using it for a desktop makes little sense. Even now I’m working this message on an Android phone that was around $100 with no issues.
CPU power hasn’t changed much, they’ve added more features over the years, but power hasn’t changed a lot, only Windows has gotten more bloated so you need more ram to run it.
You can also just buy a used laptop or business computer which is infinitely better and cheaper.
