Maybe it wanted to turn around. Busch Gardens is just 40 miles back.

A very excellent point. I should have realized.
He might not have been fully up to speed yet. This sign is just past a weigh station (I’ve driven this stretch many, many times), and VDOT said he had just gone through the station. Though that doesn’t answer why the bed was up. Could have bumped the switch?
:::Edit to strike through this nonsense:::I am leaning toward the other explanation of drive shaft breaking and pole vaulting the trailer into the sign.
If that’s the case, why did they arrest the driver on reckless driving? Sounds like pure accident. Even if it was negligent maintenance, that’s not the driver’s fault, that’s on the trailer owner. Right? (IANACDL 😄)
On a scale from 1 to 10, that trailer was at a Snoop Dogg.
You did it all for the wookie, the wookie, the wookie…
If i had seen an umbrella like this from my office window, it would have given me a good chuckle. You will be sure to brighten other’s dreary days.
Ew, did Beetlejuice put his engagement ring complete with severed finger in someone’s wine glass?
Can confirm. I also fainted once after donating blood. They used that stuff on me. The tv does get it right this time. It works very quickly, and is similar to getting a big whiff of ammonia. Pungent, sharp, yet kind of the same feeling like when your nose suddenly clears if you have a cold and can breathe again.
Edit: lol, I didn’t know they were actual ammonia. Go figure. I’m trying to not light up the room so scrolled past the image at first.
Autocorrect was just trying to get you to ketchup.
My guess is they forgot to advance the year on the stamper. 290224 does exist.
Not Guinea, but I saw guinea pigs raised for food in a village in Tanzania. The local who owned them found it hilarious that we keep them as pets in the U.S. He asked me what we call them, and after i replied guinea pig, he said they definitely don’t taste like pig.
As someone diagnosed ADHD (i.e. my relationship with dopamine is complicated) and a grandfather who had Parkinson’s, this is news to me and a little worrying, but perhaps also making sense because I’m pretty sure adhd may have been present yet undiagnosed in that side of the family.
Southern schooled in 80s & 90s, here. They let us believe John Wilkes Booth was a lone actor and not part of an organized plot by southern men to assassinate the president.
The first time one of my northern friends mentioned that bit about a conspiracy, my little naive mind was rocked that schools might bend or bury the truth.
The rest of the list was pretty accurate. Except nurses in schools was a Hollywood myth to me. There was no budget for such positions. We could go to the school office and ask to call our parents if we weren’t feeling well, and we’d better be feeling pretty awful.
That’s not wood though. Brickpeckers?
That was incredibly fascinating!
This is an amusing sentence out of context.
