OEM Androids?
Almost got a heart attack when I read that they made a subscription service.
At least you can run the games in offline, even when you have to log in the first time.
What’s PPP?
Also Apple’s anti-consumer decisions usually transfer to other places (such as Android) aswell, because they have a lot of influence on the rest of the market.
Steam Deck is pretty awesome in the offline gaming regard, if that’s what you might be looking for.
TBH I didn’t even notice that I was using DDG when switching to librewolf other than the icon on the top bar. I have found everything I have needed, though I usually use “site:lemmy.world” (for example) anyways.
Especially on the steam deck, if you put it back together, the buttons won’t feel the same, because it needs a specific screw tightness which is not written anywhere.
I have installed heroic (Epic Games games) and many other things without touching the terminal (also it’s read-only so…)
Nobara’s UI is the same in Gaming Mode and if using KDE then also in Desktop Mode (I think)
Newpipe is also an alternative to consider
On PC you also have Invidious and Piped
Aren’t creators getting paid before the video’s uploaded?
If I have 38 Gnome, do I have to completely re-install the os or is there a “upgrade” option or something?
Ender creality 3(?) should be pretty cheap and is really popular
All-in on open source and the Fediverse, with support from Mozilla, Marc Benioff, Long Journey Ventures, and others.
Don’t know if the “others” may include google.
Is there a list somewhere with games it works with?
Can confirm, been using it for a few months now and it had been the best experience so far. Steam and discord installable on rhe welcome app and even some common steam game fixes.
I think it has better customization than librewolf and (beta iirc) integration with tree style tabs and vertical tabs. Although I haven’t used it for long (2-3 months) the experience has been great. It has been my recommendation for anyone coming from Chrome.
