Think you might need to reread the comment you’ve replied to, they don’t say anything about China doing anything, in fact they make it clear that China can’t do it.

Just on the rabies bit, there has been a couple of trials using mRNA vaccines on rabies. They’ve shown promise as they have been shown to be quite effective, and the current rabies vaccines we have are expensive and time consuming to make.
I am a terrible watcher of wrestling. I’ll watch a show, then not watch one for two years. But I caught his SummerSlam match, and the kid can go. Like, he had all the fundamentals down. The whole going slow that takes forever for wreztlers to learn. He can sell moves with the best of em. His moves were super crisp. Calling the next sequence etc. Do I think he’s way overpaid? Yes. Do I hate that some internet guy is being made famous when they squander literal Olympic level wrestlers? Yes. But, I mean, he’s putting out good matches…
And yeah, I’ve never really followed him, so this was always his “redemption” to me. If he’s still doing the horseshit I have heard him and Jake do well… But I wanna hope!
No probably about it, he’s one of their top paid stars (although still a ways off of Roman reigns and Lesnar). Which is wild given he only wrestled 6 times this year. But he brings eyes to the product, so WWE have done the maths and deemed it to be worthwhile.
They don’t “just” wipe em clean. Yeah, me and you might think they do, but there’s a bunch of steps they have to perform. Because if they don’t, people literally die. And here’s a study that emphasizes that being a risk with such a innocuous device. I mean, the WHO guidelines for cleaning them are literally 10 steps long.
And as I was finding the who guidelines again, I found another article that states that oximeters should be disposable when more than one patient is hooked to a machine. Guarantee a field hospital doesn’t have dozens of those devices on hand, so we’re back to disposables anyway.
5,000 disposable items usually fit in a box. Wanna guess how big that autoclave you’d need would be? Cos there ain’t many pieces of medical equipment that you’re gonna get away with just chucking it in a bucket of cleaner for 15mins. Cos, ya know, the chance of a patient dying due to equipment that is dirty is pretty fucking high in most permanent hospitals, let alone in a literal jungle. So, yeah, you’re gonna need more than a bucket and a bottle of bleach.
Also, battlefield hospitals are generally well supplied. They might miss a shipment or two, but generally most will arrive. I mean, you have issues when a literal city is being besieged, but otherwise? They’ll be fine. Can’t really run an army without shit to patch up the inevitable bullet holes. Plus the patients need food and water too. All shit that ensures the mitary keeps their field hospitals as well supplied as they can.
Where as I’m the converse, all I watch is tv these days. Will watch 10 movies a year, if that. I long the longer and stronger connection I can form with the characters over a tv season. And I did they can tell more elaborate stories with the longer time compared to a movie. Different strokes for different folks though.
Much less of a problem with newsgroups.

I’m not the person you’re replying to, but I am Australian and can give my 2 cents, what the grey market sellers are selling them for here in Australia anyway. Hell, wouldn’t mind paying a bit more than that too. I just want to buy it legit so I have all the warranty protections etc.
Depends on your pov. Not curved much compared to a window from any other car. But it is curved just as much as any other piece of flat glass you may want to compare it to.
They likely sell tins of it in commissary.
Because we’ve been fighting off having conditions imposed on us for generations now. The us government tried to enforce conditions on the drinking of alcohol a while back. Didn’t go so well. Imposing restrictions in this regard has never worked. People have been trading copies for a very long time now. Hell, the BBC is calling for people to hand over their tapes of early doctor who episodes cos they have lost the originals, and those who have them are still wary of handing them over cos it goes against the very idea of why they made the copies in the first place. You’ll also find that most pirates are spending way above the norm for media they love. Myself, I pirate a shit load of music. My biggest expense after rent is music, 90% of that going to digital and physical copies (I’d love to spend more on gigs but I can only to go to so many in a week). I literally spend more on it than I do on food and utilities.
Yeah, that wasn’t my experience in Australia. Every Samsung I ever had had google apps and Samsung apps preinstalled. None of the rest. And all those baked in apps were easily disabled if they couldn’t be deleted (I couldn’t delete YouTube, but I could disable it so I could run Vanced and not have the normal YouTube app be the default). I suspect that even though you bought a unlocked phone, it came with a bunch of shit baked in cos you are in the US. There’s a lot of shit that is copacetic there (more generally speaking than just phone related) that doesn’t fly in the rest of the world.
As I said, there are other reasons not to use Samsung devices, but all these stories I’ve gotten in this thread have not matched up with the experience I had in over 7yrs.
Yeah, and it was an ongoing issue with Reddit. Probably still is. Sure, small, niche subreddits that had active moderation were generally free of the scourge. But it was quite a common phenomenon across the site, in my experience.
I literally said there were other reasons not to choose Samsung, I’m not making them out to be a saint. And I have literally had none of the issues you’ve described with the Samsung’s I’ve had in Australia.
Nah, Samsung didn’t ruin their phones, carriers in the US did. Don’t have any of that bloatware or ads on em down here in Australia. That being said, there are other reasons to avoid Samsung…
On android, have premium, use the app a good amount, never encountered the issue you are reporting.
Bandcamp isn’t a streaming service. It’s also very rare for them not to have a release for sale globally. It does happen, but I can count on one hand how often it’s happened in the last 15yrs I’ve been using the service.
Link worked fine for me just now, 13mins after your post.
