I upgraded my Surface Pro 3’s to Kubuntu just this week. Should have done it ages ago. They run faster and cooler now.

That looks like a pretty solid base before microsoft attempts to decommission millions of computers that have many years of useful life left. I wish I could say that’s great for me, but more of that hardware is going to end up in local landfills than resold.

That is the name of the website linked… I hate the word/phrase, but, it is what it is now.

Until they both lose money and users measurably from these changes, they will copy one another to chase every last cent.
