Oh man, I wish I could give you more than one upvote. Thank you for this well reasoned defense of sex in movies.
Ahh… that’s an angle I hadn’t thought of…
Yeah but, sex scenes in movies and sex in porn are hardly even the same thing. They’re so wildly different, I don’t see how one could be a replacement for the other.
Are you taking about Uglies? I feel like you described Uglies. I liked the adaptation, but a lot of critics didn’t.
Ah. I knew there was a Trump comment somewhere in here.
I mean, it’s not literally a joke. I guess I’m just missing some context.
Ooooh… that’s probably why I’m being down voted… That’s disappointing.
What do you mean by “making a case”? Asking honestly. I don’t know much about the conversation around it.
Or… America might be about to get involved on Russia and China’s side, instead of against them, depending on how the Presidential election goes.
Your brother may need to hear what Alan Watts had to say about this:
If you get the message, hang up the phone. For psychedelic drugs are simply instruments, like microscopes, telescopes, and telephones. The biologist does not sit with eye permanently glued to the microscope, he goes away and works on what he has seen.
One time, when I was young, I had political campaign fever and stole some signs out of somebody’s yard.
The signs were for Rick Santorum though, so I’m hoping the universe forgives me.
Not my mom. She told me she never did anything like that.
Right? I would hate to be responsible for a child’s life all the time.
Compare to George W. Bush, who said:
“We’re also a nation of immigrants, and we must uphold that tradition, which has strengthened our country in so many ways.”
and:
“Some in this country argue that the solution is to — is to deport every illegal immigrant and that any proposal short of this amounts to amnesty. I disagree. It is neither wise nor realistic to round up millions of people, many with deep roots in the United States, and send them across the border.”
and:
“We must honor the great American tradition of the melting pot, which has made us one nation out of many peoples. The success of our country depends upon helping newcomers assimilate into our society, and embrace our common identity as Americans.”
I’m not saying G.W. was good or anything, but god damn that’s a big change from what we see now from Republicans.
I wouldn’t want to read that book either.
Funny enough, I was gonna comment something snarky about toilet paper when I posted this, but didn’t.
This seems very not cool.
That was a particularly creepy episode.
It makes the radio a bit more engaging and interesting.
