3 similar but different questions:
You didn’t state if you use an adblock extension, which is what this is all about.
Linux performance with proton has increased so drastically in recent years, your statement can be taken as wishful thinking at first, but there is a definite trend and I agree that Linux will probably be the powerhouse of gaming in coming years.
You’ll be surprised to learn how much overhead Windows has and how much system resources they take up to keep all their trackers and bloat running in the background. It really makes a startling difference when you switch to a Linux OS. It can even make your hardware feel more powerful, because it only needs to deal with the game’s performance, and not also running a shitton of unneeded services in the background all the time.
FYI, the Haven F-Droid repo has seemingly not been updated in 4 years. Latest available .apk is from 2019.
Hahaha, had to reread the headline to understand what you said.
They could have fixed it with 1 word: “YouTube intensifies fight against ad-blockers BY showing pop-ups and users are frustrated.”
I think for obvious reasons, hahaha. Tux still seems like a nornal animal-penguin. Not too many people like anthropomorphised animal characters, especially if they suddenly wear clothes and walk on their hind legs. Just gives of Disney-esque furry vibes.
Until you get caught in a similar predicament without having stolen anything. Then you’ll waste 10 minutes being humiliated by having your entire cart rechecked, all the while catching looks from everyone else checking out. Then you will be frustrated and might say something about it. But yes, they are all dumb criminals. You’ll be the only innocent one who was ever humiliated in this way…
Grow up
According to one alternative posted in the past by a member of the Furry community?
But yeah, you’re wrong. Linux is predominantly portrayed by a penguin mascot, Tux. Some distros are named after penguin species too (Gentoo for example)

That’s awesome if that works for you. By all means, sacrifice privacy for comfort. It’s not affecting you in the immediate short term, so why not? We’re all different and it doesn’t help trying to prescribe approaches to intetnet strangers. But yeah, I still get your frustration. A short while ago these weren’t such consistent issues. We’re at a crossroads, Twitter, Google, Apple, Microsoft, shit’s changing y’all.
The choice, as always, is up to you. And the all too familiar factor of comfort is always threatening to lull you into capitalist oblivion. You are a number, you are a statistic, a means to an end… But not necessarily. Choose your battles. Set those boundaries. Protect yourself and be awake. Yo bro, you woke? I’d rather be woke than aslope.
Yeah valid point. My computer is my TV, so I only have 2 devices to switch between.
This guy has lots of devices. 1st world problems, so sad. (Just kidding though) What if you dedicate one device to watching YouTube? Or is your approach to devices truly this chaotic that you have to have every app on every device? Why even have more than one device then?
I read it as “The budget price tag is why I still care enough to rate it”
