To be fair, and let me first say that I hate organized religion and am not defending Mennonites or whoever by any means (I don’t know much about them, in fairness), but I’ve read a few articles about this and it’s not clear to me that it was directly related to their religion. It could be, and I’d be surprised if there wasn’t a strong correlation between idiots like this and being religious in general, but I’ve read nothing stating that it was directly related to the Mennonite religion specifically. Anyone with a source can correct me if I’m wrong.

That actually makes it even worse. They don’t even have the legally permissable insanity of religion to shield themselves. They’re just unapologetically terrible people who think themselves justified. Not vaccinating children, except for legitimate medical reasons, should be fucking illegal. As in child endangerment at best levels of illegal.

Absolutely, I agree, these people are fucking awful and dumb as rocks either way. The parents are infuriating, it’s tragically sad for the kids, and the way that RFK’s group has exploited the situation is vile albeit not at all surprising.

If someone believes in a magic sky wizzard, just imagine what else they are willing to believe and what you can sell them

I get it man, more than you could probably know. I’m just interested to know if the purveyors of this religion actually preach against vaccines or not, in this specific community and/or on a larger scale, that’s all. It’s ok to explore the nuances of things.
