Twitter is still a major source of information, a lot of media and news agencies refer to what is posted there. Calling it an irrelevant echo chamber is incorrect. For a lot of journalists, analysts, scientists, and experts in virtually every field Twitter is the main platform and it is the only way to follow them. I don’t know why people ignore that fact.
