Summary
President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter Biden, reversing his prior stance against using executive clemency.
The pardon covers Hunter’s federal gun conviction and tax evasion guilty plea, sparking political controversy.
Biden cited political attacks and a “miscarriage of justice” as reasons for his decision, emphasizing his son’s recovery from addiction and the targeting of his family.
Critics argue the move undermines the judicial process, while supporters view it as within Biden’s constitutional powers.
This decision shields Hunter from potential prison time as Biden nears the end of his presidency.
Biden was your hero? When? Why?
Tough to tell exactly. For some it was one of the 3 times he tried to. cut social security:

for others its in the 50 years he fought his own party on abortion:

Or all the years until he was tapped to be VP for Obama, that he railed against gays.

Or his being against universal health care.
Or back when he was a “gaffe” machine, where every “gaffe” was racist against black americans. What a coincidence. But he’s for sure not a racist, he’s a dem after all.
or when he was the architect of civil asset forfeiture.
Or when he shanked Anita Hill in the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings.
Or when he was the architect of the “tough on crime” 3 strikes laws.
Or the innumerable child sniffing, licking, petting, and nibbling episodes we have all had to watch and pretend didnt happen. So cute!
And for many, its been the direct and pivotal support for genocide and massive war crimes, and his almost single handed destruction of the concepts of democracy and any semblence of justice and the rule of law within the western world order. when 88% of his own party didnt support that.
Its hard to say when republican fascist leaners fell in love with Biden, but they had lots and lots of moments to choose from.
I just heard from Radiolab that he also voted against repealing the electoral college back in 1980 when it was still a proposed constitutional amendment that had already passed congress and was supported by 80% of the voting public.
it would seem he’s just going mask-off again.
Hahaha what a lovely man he was
