  • He was not a felon

Not true. Hunter Biden was convicted of 3 felony tax evasion charges and 6 misdemeanor tax evasion charges totalling 1.4 million in intentional fraud. Plus three felony charges of lying on a gun registration. He absolutely was a 6 time felon awaiting sentencing. The decision whether he was a felon or not was already settled by a jury of his peers.

  • Sentencing was in 2 days, which is still plenty of time for Biden to have pardoned if the sentence was out of line with normal sentencing guidelines-- aka, a “witchhunt”. Hunter was tried by a group of his peers for tax and gun crimes he clearly committed. I dont see how it could have been a witch hunt, since the congressional inquiry was shut down.

So why did Biden issue pardon before sentencing? One can only assume Hunter was about to get a sentence thats just fine and in line with his conviction. If he was about to get “nailed” in a “witch hunt” as some people said here, it would have been better to wait for the abusive behavior to be apparent before acting. Biden made hte choice not to wait, therefore there is probably no unfairness in Hunters case. We will never 100% know the truth either way, but the witchhunt theory just doesnt line up with the facts we can see with our own eyes.

So, Biden very likely abused his authority to let his son off for crimes that he should be accountable for as a citizen. Biden brought justice in the country down a notch for personal gain. Yet again, the man is not worthy of his office. Neither is Harris or Trump. They are all self centered corrupt opportunists acting for other reasons than the job is supposed to be about.

Evidently if it saves his son a single year in jail, Biden will wipe his rear with his party’s dignity, if not the entire concept of justice in this country.

  • We don’t care about this because Hunter was the target of a witch hunt.

He was convicted in court by a jury of his peers same as every other American under charges would see. He wasnt convicted in some political “witch hunt” process in congress, nor was he convicted by an activist judge. The congressional investigation went nowhere and was shut down. Hunters convictions carried a sentence of 15 to 21 months. If his conviction is unfair and needs to be resisted then the entire system of justice in america is unfair.

The actual “crimes” weren’t impactful at all.

thats not your call to make. This is just another case of hard justice being for the little people only, and you seem to be cheering that on. How low can you go, man. Biden spent a lifetime banging tables pretending to be a tough on crime guy. You seem to have forgotten all of that.

  • Its pointless to point fingers now but that seems to be why you post. I think you need validation that what you did was the “right” thing. Even if it meant abandoning all your principles, and the lower and middle class in the process. Well I’m here for you buddy. Let me be the robin to your batman:

Yes! You are soo right redditrefugee69!! if it werent for literally every demographic of voter except college educated whites, Kamala would have won! damn them all! The minorities are the bane of our existence! And what happened to all those republicans who we worked so hard on? How dare they turn their backs on a Cheney! We had a cheney republican and a “liberal” dem up there, that should have covered all the bases!

Do you know the worst of the minorities who turned their back on dems? it was Native Americans!! Lets talk about how evil and bad they are!!

  • it could have been easier to push the Democrats left if they actually won.

88% of Americans didnt approve of Israels actions in gaza and Biden supported it anyway. Why would Dems change long standing policy after the election if they won? Its a ridiculous idea thats not based on historical fact at this point. Thats without even considering AIPAC bribes having locked both the dems and repubs into supporting whatever they want, forever-- bribes paid for using american taxpayer money disguised as “aid”. Israel is the only foreign aid recipient who gets all their money up front, and a big chunk of it can be spent as they please, not earmarked for weapons or purchases in the US. They can buy hookers and blow with our aid money if they want to. Of course they will use some of that money for bribes and election interference.

  • I’ll name the war crime, and you could too if you did a google search for it.

We’re bound by the geneva conventions, that we did sign, and the articles regarding complicity in genocide wre in the signed articles. So yes, it is US law.

"According to Article 1 of the Genocide Convention, the Contracting Parties, including the United States and Israel, must prevent and punish acts of genocide. Under Article III, those punishable acts include “Complicity in genocide,” such as by knowingly providing the deadly weapons used to carry it out. In 2007, the International Court of Justice (ICJ), in a case involving Bosnia and Serbia, established that the obligation to refrain from providing weapons or other assistance begins the moment a state becomes aware of the existence of a serious risk that genocide may be committed.

For the Biden administration, that moment came in January, when the ICJ found that there was a “plausible” risk of genocide being committed in Gaza against the Palestinian people by Israel."
